Thank you for making this series of video, even though there is just 4 episodes, I think I've learnt a lot from it. Your instruction is clear and easy to understand, thankyou.

Hi Cyprien! Your videos are very useful when learning how to use different software. Do you think you at some point could make a series of how to use the MOOSE framework?

Hi Cyprien, wonderful tutorials on GMSH, really enjoyed learning from them. I wanted to know if there's a way to make periodic structures on GMSH if we know the coordinates of the constituting unit cell. Defining points for a large ensemble might be too tiresome.

Hi Cyprien, Thanks for such an informative tutorial. It seems from this video that there will be no flow through the hole. I have a question that how can we create holes for suction or blowing?

How do you define the sign of lines in the curve loop, i.e, whether it is positive or negative?

Hello Cyprien, as I allways say, thank you for your work. I need to know, once the geometry is meshed, could it be used for a FEM analysis in a Python script? I mean, I have created one which uses T6N elements, and all I need is to introduce the nodes of the mesh as a list or array of numbers. Thanks a lot.

Sure, you can, but you need a solver that works with python and that can read your format

Another great video, many thanks Cyprien! I wonder if it is possible to use GMGH as pre-processing for big models or assemblies. I mean to create beams or shell from 3D, delete small chamfers and radiuses from 3D, etc. You know when we get the model from designers to investigate it. Don't you have any experience with that? I don't expect the workflow as in Ansa or Hypermesh, I'm just curious if it is possible 🙂

That’s a great question. I am not sure Gmsh is built to do that… but I’ll investigate

Dear Cyprien! May I re-upload your vids on the Russian video hosting platform Rutube? With all the credits to you of course. The Russian authoritarian government plans shutting down KZbin in Russia, but the your insights about free software should be spread everywhere!

Sure, I don’t speak Russian well enough to do that myself… it surprises me that Russian is planning to ban KZbin though!!
