This film is very touching. ..used an entire box of tissues sobbing through it. Hu Ge is a brilliant actor. Liu Tao is very talented all around. Despite not understanding Chinese, I cry just hearing this song. I'm sure the lyrics are heartbreaking. Wish they would make more dramas like this. This is hands down my favorite film.

To comfort her, he tells her he has 10 years to live. Broken but comforted that she still have 10 years with him. She said 10 years was enough. Then she overhears him arguing with the doctors and knows he only has a couple months to live. She cries because he lied to her. And when he saw her, he couldn’t look at her because he had lied to her. Yeah I rarely cry in drama but I cried in this scene. So heartbreaking.

Just finished watch this drama after so long of consideration and time to prepare myself as I have ardy read the spoiler. It was a good drama and really recommended to watch. Hate to see he had to suffered so much. Knowing that he would die he would do anything to clear his clan names and his comrades. Keep his secret away from his most best friend. Prince jing looked so heart broken after knowing that the one he missed was actually by his side all time. Though he had his suspicious but he still been cold toward him. I hope they have more time together. The loyal Princess Mu nihuang always be there and the first one to recognize him right away. Commander general meng that been trying so hard too to keep his identity and to keep him away from Da ling city.

I loved it, i mean it looks even sadder than nirvana in fire 1 since PinZhang, Tinsheng and the imperor die but it ends much better. I cried a lot in this series and also in the sequel... I felt so bad for Nihuang in this one and cried so much when PinZhang held XiaoXue's hands before he died but they are both incredibly amazing series. Ahaha I just recently became fan of nirvana in fire, 9 months go...more or less. What did you think of it?

There is a Nirvana in Fire 2 but it's set 50 years after the events of the first series. I highly recommend it. Even though it's got an all new set of characters and a new story line it's very engaging and just as epic as the first drama. I didn't think it would be as good, especially because the first was based off of the book and the second wasn't, but it was surprisingly well done.
