You know what.. I feel like Josh is slowly giving himself a chance of getting to know Maya better in this ski lodge episode, and I can see that he's beginning to see Maya in a new light. I'm so happy that Josh finally admit it that he likes her too, and he's in it for a long game :)

And to add on to that ^^ I also see and noticed that Maya really wasn't/isn't invisible to Josh. He actually always noticed and knows her just like she knows him. Also he's actually never once denied liking her :) He only claimed that he's 3 years older than her, but he never said that he doesn't like her that way. Yeah, he may pull that age card to her and when she jumped on his back on the episode where he came to open the college offered envelope at his brother's apartment, he tried to get her off his back, however he doesn't let her go which was the opposite of when Maya jumped on Lucas's back. Anyways, I think he actually likes her since the time he met her, maybe since they were young, but he just pull the age card to her because she's still young and still a minor, so he wanted to wait till she gets older or maybe he has other reasons to pull the age card, but I know that was just his excuse. But I'm glad that he finally admit that he like her too, even though he still doesn't ask her out yet, but what he said to her was really good. "You live your life, I'll live my life. I know you're out there, and I'm out there too." - Some people be twisting his words saying that Josh is making her wait, but that's not what he was saying, he's actually saying that he wanted her to have her own life searching, doing her thing, go out with other people, and have fun with her life, while he'll do the same, and if in the future, they meet each other again, they can make their relationship work. He wasn't holding her back at all. You can basically see that he cares about her, he doesn't want their relationship for "someday" to waste her time without having herself grow and search out, that's why he's saying "You live your life, I'll live my life. I know you're out there and I'm out there too", which basically means he want her to do her thing and he'll do his, he wasn't pulling her back. For those who be twisting his words in the wrong way must understand what he's actually saying.

This is so well put, also something that a lot of people forget is that Josh doesn't want Maya to wait around for him; he wants her to date. When Zay basically asked his permission to "hang out" with Maya, he didn't hesitate. He actually wanted her to enjoy her teenage years. Its sad that we weren't able to see them have their someday, because I truley believe that they would have gotten married.

Also always noticed that he would say "shes three years younger than me" or vice versa. He would never say that he didn't like her. I feel like they both had strong feelings for eachother but the writers wanted to keep it less "complicated".

Over time I grew to love watching the show too because it was one of the best, funniest and interesting shows on television at the time.
