That's got so much atmosphere Bob. I modelled and exhibited in GN15 some 20 years ago. Although the layouts were sold, luckily I kept the locos and stock. Your videos have helped inspire me to take the scale up again. Thank you.

Kind words . Thank-you. I try to present to the best of my skill and ability. I confess my skills lie in model making not film editing

THE MOST fascinating model railroad channel (with sadly few videos to watch) on You Tube.

Thanks Frank, alas the video's take a lot of doing, and my model making is better than my filming. So for the time being I am trying to stick to the four seasonal videos a year. but glad you enjoy

Bob got to say you have done it again, great video and inspiration, just love watching them. Really hope to see it exhibited one day, shame more people don’t model in GN15, it a great scale and cheaper than any of the big garden railway scales.

Thanks Stephen, I have to admit working in this scale is a pleasure. its getting a bit big to move, but I have a plan. !! sort of

Noticed you have smoke in on of the engines, do you like it? Do you use it often? I’m thinking of adding smoke but not sure.
@TippY_AshwooD3 жыл бұрын
I do like having the option. but I don't use it a lot, more for the wow factor when I am filming

Just found your fantasy world as I'm looking into Gn15 myself. Are the locos DCC sound equipped , they sounded like it and have you used the Hornby chassis. If yes they run well
@TippY_AshwooD2 жыл бұрын
I run Dead Rail with a 1" sound cube. I use Blue rail chips Bluetoothed through my phone with their generic sound. I am questioning my decision on this however I think I have one episode about the system early on. Thanks for watching, it's a great scale to work in, you will enjoy
@dawdawes2 жыл бұрын
@@TippY_AshwooD hadn't even heard of dead rail, that looks interesting, mind you I've been DCC since 2004 so have the equipment available

Good job and different. In watching you tall engines and tall cars wobbling it appears those are top heavy. Have you tried adding weight to counter the wobble? Weight in the lower part of the tall equipment would improve your running. Deluxe Materials produces a product you can pour and glue in place.
@TippY_AshwooD3 жыл бұрын
Yep. they do wobble. and I have had issues. they all have car wheel weights stuck on down low, as well as the Smal brook studio kits have lead shot in the chassis castings. but where there is a will there is a way. we will figure it out. I will look up the deluxe material stuff. thank-you
