You can't compare them because Dauntless is barely even a game right now. As far as monsters go, Dauntless's lineup is much much slower, and the player attacks are hardly faster when their actual application is slow (few moves have impetus and combos are almost entirely linear). The game is very methodical and barely cares for positioning because of how powerful rolling s are. I'm certainly interested in how it'll develop from what it's laid forth already, though.
