This video isn’t really that well made as my other videos, I wanted to try something new in this one
Context:
I should probably make it clear that this isn’t supposed to represent the entire countries but rather follows the story of an Indian man named Sher Singh who witnessed the aftermath of a massacre the British did on the city of Amritsar on Indian civilians. (Referred to as the Jallianwala Bagh massacre) which killed 379~1,500 people as well as thousands more injured. During this time he and other men from his village tended to the wounded as much as they could. Few years later he meets and befriends Bhagat Singh, who is the leader of the HSRA (Hindustan socialist republican association) which strived for Indias independence through any means necessary.(Which if I really gave the full history of it we’d be here all day💔)In short, Bhagat Singh and the rest of his party members get hanged by the British government and Sher is arrested. As he is released from prison the government kept an eye on him so he fled to Afghanistan, to the USSR and went to Uk under a new name of Udham Singh where he fled the authorities for months while working in different jobs across the country. His most prominent job working as a assistant for the general that caused the massacre to happen in the first place, whom he almost tried to kill 2 times before refusing as it would not help his cause if he attacked him in private. In this time he meets up with other groups such as the Red army, The IRA, and British communists. He’s assassinated the man who caused the massacre to begin with 21 years later. After this he is arrested and hanged to death.
