B.Sc Nusring एक 4 साल का डिग्री कोर्स है जबकि GNM 3.5 साल का Diploma Course है जिसमें 3 साल का कोर्स और 6 महीने की हॉस्पिटल में इंटर्नशिप करनी होती है।
B.Sc Nursing में आपको GNM की तुलना में deep Knowledge दिया जाता है चाहे वह Theoretical हो या Practicle.
एक उदाहरण से समझते हैं यदि आपको GNM में Kidney के बारे में जानकारी दी जाए तो आपको केवल किडनी के आकार और सामान्य से कार्य बताये जाएंगे। जबकि B.Sc Nursing के दौरान आपको किडनी के बारे में शरीर विज्ञान की विस्तृत जानकारी मिलती है।
B.Sc Nusring केवल वही students कर सकते हैं जिनकी 12th में Physics, Chemistry, एवं Boilogy हो परन्तु GNM Arts, Commers, और Science सभी विषय वाले कर सकते हैं परंतु कुछ Government Collage ऐसे भी हैं, जो GNM के लिए भी Science माँगते हैं । दोनों की तुलना करने पर देखा जाए तो B.Sc Nursing में GNM की तुलना में Competition कम हैं क्योंकि GNM में students बहुत ज्यादा होते हैं।
