I think you might be missing something about Pokkle. Pokkle *is* a generic magical elf thing of very small stature, that is a fact. And this is very consistent with the koro-pok-guru of Hokkaido Ainu lore, which are known in Japanese as コロポックル or koropokkuru. There's a couple of name changes/details that I didn't see covered, so I thought I'd just bring them up because trivia is fun! Daisy- Horumon, either from a Japanese loan of 'hormone,' which is sometimes put into cow's milk, or from 'horumonyaki,' which is a Japanese dish made from beef offal Huey- Literally just 'Y,' I assume for his shape Lucha- Fukumen, meaning 'mask,' since he's a masked wrestler Macho- Gatsu, or 'guts' I assume in the sense of being strong and determined Twinkle- Subaru, which in Japanese refers to the Pleiades star cluster Velvet also makes a bit of a pun in the original Japanese, since it's pronounced 'berubetto' with 'beru' also being the pronunciation for 'bell,' possibly because of her sort of bell-shaped torso.

The namco dating sim has homestuck characters for some reason, but sadly not rose or Kanaya, probably because they are married but hey, your character is (implied to be) female, they could totaly at least jokingly flirt with her. Or, more interestingly, they could fall for you, in the caligonus quadrant, then again no-one would stand a chance against rose in such a rivalry, she would most likely win every time, although your character is a blank slate from the start, maybe you start liking how much she defeats you and she then tones it down a bit to keep you from getting to comfortable, and then you can actually get some descent retorts in and it eventually stabilizes, or maybe terezi steps in and auspistecizes you two, I dunno I just want my gall in the game
