Nice. I have also used wine and champagne corks for gnome bases. And little tiny scraps of fake fur for beards. Fleece works well for hats as it is a little stretchy.

My mi. And dad had something similar for us kids for Christmas they were elves I think made with long thin bottles …either a styrofoam head covered in yarn with eyes and noses , and the yarn ran through the pill bottle and out the bottom knotted .lso you couldn’t lose any part of the ornament …but they were able to open and fill with m&ms or little hard candies etc for Christmas …oh how I wish I still had them , sweet are the memories ! Mom also has the very cutest stockings for all of us ….lost in a fire
