Right Shoulder is actually just the name of the joint. So you should still name it Right Shoulder even if it's just connecting a 'Torso' to a 'Right arm' if that makes sense.

to make most dump pathfinding you can simply make grid of points on map and make sure that ai can travel from each to other one without bumping into walls and it will calculate what path is shortest to the player. once there is nothing to bump into and player is nearby it can just go straight at him and if it bumps wall then resume pathfinding.

Or you can make it a crappy survival the killer murderer npc but if it stops movement it checks if there is a solid object blocking its way and if there is then it should go to the nearbiest point then resume attacking, but if there is no solid object but it's still in one place then it will despawn the character/or make it unstuck.

The game story:chapter 1,your a kid that has a haunted teddy that you didn’t know about then you bought your teddy to school then saw it kill someone then you hide in a room the game begins you saying “i gotta get out of here” like the beginning of Piggy Chapter 1. Chapter 2, you escape into your house and shouted for your mom noone replied then you started looking for her and you heard her screaming at the kitchen and you saw your teddy covered in blood and your mom lying in the kitchen floor then you said “why whould teddy do this..” the game begins. Chapter 3 you wanted to go to the police but you were surrounded by the teddys they ran after you into a forest and you said “i need to get my old teddy back” the game begins.chapter 4, you escaped into a weird campsite nearby the police station you saw something in the bushes you were scared and didn’t know what that thing is then it jumped out the bush and you saw a innocent teddy the teddy said “it’s not safe here let’s get to the police station nearby the game begins. Chapter 5,you and teddy escaped into the station and you said “is anybody here?!” The game begins. Chapter 6. You and teddy escape to a warehouse nearby and you said to teddy “is it safe here?” Teddy replied “this is a tiny safe place but those monsters are gonna get in” the game begins. Chapter 7, you and teddy were surrounded and nowhere to go exept the airport you and teddy rushed into the airport and teddy said “we should get out of here before we die” the game begins. Chapter 8, the other haunted teddys knew where you and teddy were you guys rushed into the library to hopefully be safe for now but all the other teddys chased after you and the innocent teddy the game begins. Chapter 9, you escape into a train station and the train wasn’t working you let teddy have some rest while you got to get all the stuff to get the train working the game begins. Chapter 10, you’re all alone because teddy said “i don’t feel too well here have a map to find where the safe place is you can escape through the helicopter there, good luck” then you said “teddy I’ll get you back, i promise” the game begins.

Gnome Code I have a question for you about Path Finding. First, thank you so much for your videos, they have taught me a lot. My question, I am working on a game, and sometimes my pathfinding works on the NPC and sometimes it freezes and I get the error, "waypoints not safe to call in Parallel." I know Roblox has Parallel as a beta feature in Studio. I have no idea how to turn that off, or if it affects the game when live or if I have to desynchronize the Path Finding. Any help is so appreciated, I am in over my head on this...

Alvin Blox didn't really show how to make the character, so this is the most helpful, and he used a real model, so we coudn't know how to make the doors need keys.
