You could optimize electrocutioner more by having melee stack on one spot at the bosses back left leg so when you get the debuff that looks like negative charge you can stand on back right leg and not hit anyone with it while being able to DPS the boss

You can go tank and DPS with pretty much the same build, so I guess easier than most. You have to pump though if you want to get into a good group quickly

You will need some big stamina items for tanking if you're nowhere close to bis

It's harder because rn shamans are a dime a dozen. Way too common. You have extreme competition and if you don't have parses to show you stick out from the rest or a guild who will take you regardless it takes hours minimum if not nearly days to find someone who will take you.
