This was played on Radio 3 this morning, it's beautiful. It's so like the music to the Itallian TV series, Montalbano, but the music for that is attributed to Piersanti.

I love the sly, seductive vibe the group has added to Satie’s rather intellectual composition. You have made the piece sound dangerous but irresistible, like a beautiful temptress beckoning from the shadows of a dim, cobbled lane. As remarked above, it's almost identical to the theme music to the Italian TV series Montalbano.

@Knickertwist Copperby He's certainly borrowed heavily in parts. This particular bolero production makes it clear.
