Sir can you elaborate more about working of A mode ultrasonography in pregnant animals? Articles which I have read says it detects the presence of fluid filled uterus which reflects the echos upon receiving the waves which is seen in the form of spike depending upon the strength of the echo.

So what is that which contributes to the spike in A mode as any fluids do not have any interface to reflect sound waves?

A mode was long back used for pig pd but now replaced by real time ultrasound due to its low efficiency. The A-mode ultrasound converts the returning sound wave echo signal in an audible tone or a green light. A positive result for pregnancy diagnosis is obtained when the sound waves reflect a structure full of liquid, such as a uterus with the fetal fluid, and the echo is converted into an audible tone. However, sound waves can be obtained from other fluid-filled structures, like the urinary bladder, leading to false positive diagnoses. Pregnancy diagnoses with A-mode ultrasound can be performed by a nonveterinarian. Refer Williams et al 2008 Canadian Vet J. I would be glad to share more information via mail. sir if a USG image is shown without letting know about the animal then is it possible to differentiate a pregnent cattle and goat image at early stage?

Given that Goat size diametrics are small and the probe for goat transrectal usg would be different from that used in cows i think such differentiation would not be difficult. Kindly specify what do you mean by early stage Day 18, 35 or what

Respected sir In colour Doppler The red and blue colours you explained it wrong sir Actually red indicate moving towards probe Blue indicates away from probe. Not indicates veins and arteries sir.

Interesting, feeling how the bloating and pain receded within approximately two months made all the difference, I simply go’ogled the latest by Tilly Strankten and her Ovarian Cyst Guide and although it really took about 10 weeks for it to totally shrink and vanish I’ve never felt so light and relaxed.
