I actually like his rants, they make sense. Not even quite sure I would call them rants. He's talking to the audience about whatever is on his mind which all performers do, that's what he was all about speaking his mind. Got to love him for that. I know I do and for so much more ✌️🌹

AGREED. However i DISAGREE re: "all performers do it"This is what set Axl apart from them and made him appealing to many fans..that interpersonal connection. You'd never hear Mick, Robert, Freddie, etc.. speak personally on stage about their personal life.
@gammarose3758

@@1badjesus actually I have, Steven Tyler. Also yes Mick Jagger when they did salt of the earth. It's only a big deal because it's Axl, when it is somebody else nobody pays attention, I guess that was actually my point... I do see where you say it's more personal than the others. I think at that point in his life this is what he needed to do to get it out. Maybe in hindsight now he may have thought differently.

THIS IS WHAT SET AXL APART from prior and contemporaries, interpersonal connection. Ya NEVER heard Robert, Steven, Freddie, Mick speak thusly. His VOICE was HAMMER strong, raising adrenaline fueled fists of 20,000 all turned to 11.. and within minutes of that Rock N' Roll Crescendo.. his VOICE again took us on another journey where a good many young men in that and similar audiences were told they were NOT ALONE in their anguish... and tho' he was on stage and a Golden God within *The Pantheon of ROCK -- (*If not a Tenacious D song title, why?!) --- he was STILL that "scrawny kid" from Indiana... proclaiming "if he could live through IT and come out stronger so could WE!"... and we BELIEVED HIM! ...what other Rock God's spoke on such a level?? . so that's WHY circa 1992 we'd wait the additional 2 hours for GN'R to show and ignore/excuse the "occasional rockstar antics"...we were (are) loyal. A true measure of LOYALTY is when we remain when it could waiver from fairweather OR majority say "follow we lemmings" OR told "*it's outdated (*talent isn't milk) we remain... even if... YES.. even IF our idols attempt a "JAZZ ODYSSEY" ...we remain🙃! 🤘🤟👍! 🖖

Yes there are planned and scheduled dates for 2021. Look on their fan page on Facebook and it gives you a complete list of days and dates that they will be playing at certain places. They have had to cancel previous due to the covid but plan to try to go back to those that have missed out. I believe in July of 2021 they will be playing in Washington DC. Of course the virus permitting. I hope this helps you dear✌️🌹

It's interesting to compare this to the 91 performance (Wembley). 91 is still the relatively stripped down band (no brass section, backing singers (apart from main band), strings or synths affecting string/orchestra effect, no grand piano), and it's raw power and Axl totally focused on being a frontman/musician/singer. Almost a sea change a year later. You can appreciate them adding production value, trying to make it bigger, be more and more ambitious, but it lost some of that raw energy/power/punk aesthetic that really set them apart as a rock band

Rebel without a cause ! They think I can make friends if we move. Just move, everything will be roses and sunshine. Frank Stark: You'll learn. When you're older, Jim. Jim Stark: Well, I don't think that I want to learn that way. Mrs. Carol Stark: Well, it doesn't matter anyway, because we're moving. Jim Stark: [Grabs his mother] You're not going to tear me loose again. Frank Stark: Well, this is news to me! Just why are we moving? Mrs. Carol Stark: Oh, do I have to spell it out. Jim Stark: You are not going to use me as an excuse again! Mrs. Carol Stark: I don't. Jim Stark: Everytime you can't face yourself, you blame it on me! Mrs. Carol Stark: That is not true! Jim Stark: You say it's because of me, you say it's because of the neighborhood! You use every other phony excuse! Mom, I just... Once I want to do something right! And I don't want you to run away from me again! Dad. Frank Stark: This is all going too fast for me, son. Jim Stark: You better give me something. You better give me something fast. Mrs. Carol Stark: Jimmy, you're very young. A foolish decision now could wreck you're whole life. In ten years, you'll never know this happened. Jim Stark: Dad, answer her. Tell her. Ten years. Dad, let me hear you answer her. Dad. [Mr. Stark sits quietly] Jim Stark: Dad, stand up for me. [Mr. Stark still sits quietly, he grabs his father and yanks him up] Jim Stark: Stand up!

Rapaz...

He's basically talking about exposing his horrible childhood. Dude was beat like hell in a super strict Pentecostal church home and was sexually abused, as well as his sister. That's pretty much a huge reason as to why he was so angry and unstable mentally. He was going on about how when he talks to these things, trying to expose people for the monsters they are, and trying to show others that you can speak up and should no matter who you are, he gets shit about how his family is embarrassed of all the negative attention and such. "The shit she fuckin' knew" refers to his mother letting the abuse happen. It's fucked up stuff.
