GNU I Former Defence Minister Roelf Meyer says the unity amongst the GNU parties is special

All systems are in place for the presidential inauguration, set to take place at the Union Buildings tomorrow.
Numerous streets around the Union buildings, Hatfield, and Sunnyside in Pretoria will be closed from three o'clock in the morning.
Ramaphosa will take his oath of office at the Union Buildings. He was re-elected for a second term during the first sitting of the National Assembly.
This was in line with a deal with the DA, IFP, and other smaller parties to form a Government of National Unity.
Politicians, government leaders, civil society, and foreign dignitaries are expected to attend the ceremony.

I wouldn’t call it racism per say, I think for most people I have interacted with, they have a deep rooted fear that stems from the past. If you look at the current structures in SA whether we like to admit it or not vast majority of wealth sits with white people and black people have little to none. As a result of that inequality black people see white people as self serving and not working for everyone. Look at land, black people make up more than 80% of the population but own less than 20% of the land. Poverty prevails, people sleep in shacks. As terrible as ANC and other black parties are they are more relatable than white people. I’m saying this not to challenge your statement but to give you a different perspective and maybe some context you need to take into consideration
