The footage is not likely his own playing of the game, but just some stock footage from the Internet. There is nothing he says in the video that suggests that any of the footage in it is from his own playthroughs even of the games he liked. I suspect he didn't play the game a lot, though, because of his misimpression of the way the microtransactions in it worked. In fact, I suspect that his mistake about how they worked is the reason he didn't play it much. Still, It's rather pointless to try to use the footage as a basis of anything about his playing. He does use footage from his own playthroughs of games that he completes one hundred percent, which is the bread and butter of his channel, but for this type of video, getting that kind of footage would be a lot of trouble for little gain.

Modern pvz2 might not be the greatest pvz game nowadays, but the game in general is FAR from the worst sequel to a game. If anything, I think old school pvz2 is one of the most overhated games ever. Modern pvz2 definitely deserves criticism, and pvz2 always had flaws, but the fact that people are petty enough to label a game as bad all because of some optional microtransactions really goes to show how low standards have fallen.

2 has really only gotten mediocre very recently, and it's still not awful, it has some bad elements now, like having world plants be seedium instead of worldium and some new plants being awful, but still the main game is good! It's one of the few games that I find fun to grind out for long periods of time, sure premiums are annoying, but it's still one amazing game. Also fun fact on the wiki it says that cactus will get buffed soon and will get to pop balloons instantly again.

So this man probably looked up on some one, two star reviews without doing any resarch on more trustfull informational sources(Fandom or Wikipedia), gone with mindset that EA directed and made (not the studio which made the games) the game and put microtransactions, misstook whole rent a plant mechanic wich is interesting way to give f2p way to experience the plant without putting money in it. The "you have to spend money to enjoy" part is so..my god i have never spent money on the game and im doing fine, while yes some levels wills crash until they fix it next update it. Also that guys gameplay is..not very smart. Overall ive had a good time with pvz2 and it is a good sequel.

While I do consider current PVZ2 a step back from one is far from I will not consider as one of the worst sequels of all time I maybe didn't play very bad games in my life but at least not on my current the frame rate isn't good don't know why I will have fun with PVZ2 far more engaging gameplay and when it hits the level design is great.
