Every now and then I've seen ppl criticizing Ara's acting a lot. But since the past three years I have known her, she's such a good human, always having a bright personality and her voice and eyes never fail to awe me every single time.. I haven't seen all of her dramas but I've mostly seen her acting in happy dramas therefore the directors always choose her for bright personality role. And some ppl criticise that saying she got nothing other than acting like this. If you think so then you should search for any serious or tragic dramas of which she's a part and try seeing that. Because to my eyes, she has always been on point in delivering all kind of emotions happy or sad, that'll actually make you cry along with her. And for an actress with such a long career, sure she'd have learnt a lot and improved herself today than ten years ago. She's a Professional now!

Agree with you. Ara touches something in my soul, so that I want to smile when her character smiles and cry when she cries. It is quite rare with actresses, only 3 or 4 make me do like this and Go Ara is one of them

I loved her acting . Other korean actresses are so borring , so one dimensional, always have this chocked/quite /stoic look and face . And kactors too. I was going to drop kdramas in general because of these sleeping pills , till I discovered Go Ara in Reply 1994 , and I was like : Finally a human being among all those robots , finally someone with emotions . She is such a talented gifted actress , she always does well and gives her best , just the fact that we can't recognize her from a character to another says a lot about her excellent performances . Well, they don't like her in tragic scenes too. Even taking issues with her crying scenes, even though it was called for and the writer of the drama wrote the scenes that way. I came to the conclusion that it's a waste to pander to haters, they have made up their mind to dislike a certain actors/actresses and won't likely to change their mind no matter if the person were actually very good at those scenes. I like Go Ara. Have liked her since her Najueng days in Reply 1994. I think that was her best role beside Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol. She put on weight on purpose and have a crazy frizzy cut for that role. And she was so natural in that role. She made me laugh especially during her fights with Trash.
