Just went and saw Skull Island. It may not win awards like that of Titanic but I enjoyed it. I also liked how they incorporated the Vietnam era in the movie so well. Also, the story and casts is well done. If you're a monster movie fans you'll definitely going to enjoy this movie. unless you happen to be one of those cry babies who whines, cries, and gets butthurt over the little details, then this movie is not for you. Go watch Twilight. In my opinion, this movie gets 8 out of 10.

If you come across any B-roll of a scene where they show a large 70's protest were the production is using a huge green screen, I would love to see it since my son did some background in that scene where he plays a Boyscout from that time period. They shot it in downtown LA, but my wife said it was just a huge green screen on a large lot, not a back lot, though.

The acting is awkward because you're not hearing all the sounds and effects they add later. Plus, your not in the storyline in just one scene. When put together the acting no longer feels awkward. That's why I just can't imagine doing theatre. Some acting can instantly put you in the story, while others take time like in movies.
