This is such a nice change from the usual performer explaining to the audience that he will now be banging swords together to prove they are real, shiny, noisy, and definitely metal. The apprentice learning gives reason for the magician to even open his mouth once. Well done.

The slits he pushed in collapse and have mirrors on the back part.... I think when you see his legs when he walks behind it has a cam that shows on the mirrors. The sword that goes thru actually goes thru but dont hit her. When he pushed the middle part out shes already in the bottom never does she come out of the box. Anyway... Im not 100% but I think that's about somewhat close.

SPOILER: It is so unfair that they tied with the other guy. These people come out with one of the oldest tricks in the book that you expect to see at every magic show and the other guy lifts a person with their eyes and a sword in his stomach. Come on. Definitely shouldn't come down to a coin toss. If you spend only seconds on looking the trick up you know she is double jointed or flexible and just took her time with all the talk to twist her body around the bottom section.

Hi Peter! While I rarely engage with folks on KZbin, here is a much faster run through. Yes, it’s an old illusion. That was the point....passing it on from me to my daughter. We had much newer material for subsequent rounds, but the coin toss got us. I’ve got no shame in losing to Andrew. That act was CRAZY! Fun fact, him and I were on season 5 of America’s Got Talent together. He was equally as intense on that show too. Anyhow, I’m sorry you didn’t enjoy it. My daughter and I sure had fun!
