To answer Brooke's question, if we waited for the toxins to pass via booty, the GI system would have already absorbed all the harmful substances and we would perish. So the body is doing us a favor by allowing us to throw up the toxins early on in the GI tract (aka when it's in the stomach) so it can get rid of said toxins before they enter our body system. Hope this helps. :)

Okay picture THIS - I’m in grade 7, learning about world war 2. The teacher tells us we are going to do a simulation where she picks those of us who would have been chosen to be in a concentration camp (I had red hair therefore I would have been a gypsy), and we had to go hide ANYWHERE in the school while two male teachers wandered around banging on the doors and searching for us (as the gestapo). I hid for two entire periods before eventually the teacher whose class I was hiding in told me I should come out of hiding. Like, whaaaaat?!
