The beer at the beginning made the video. I've always wanted something to drive way out in the middle of the swamp and just sit back and drink a few and listen. Now I need to start saving my money. There is a ton of swamp and wetland around me, this is a better choice than a 4 wheeler.
@GoDevilGod Жыл бұрын
The only better choice is what makes the user happy. It's totally dependent on the user's case. For us, it's a GD longtail - for others, maybe not so much. Dabble a little and find your sweet spot. Once there, you'll never look back.

Oh man! We crawfish around Bayou Pigeon and Bayou Sorrel. Thanks for watching! Just finished building my new crawfish skiff and got a new motor for it, too. Stick around for the drop video and stay awesome!

I live in the desert. That environment is so foreign to me, but looks awesome. Enjoyed the video.

Glad you enjoyed the video! And the swamp is like the desert in one important way: it's extremely easy to get turned around and lose your bearings.

You're certainly welcome. Additionally, when you make it home, you're more than welcome to come for a ride, maybe you could show me the acid water behind the sugar mill.

Probably a stupid question...but what are the blue/pink bottles?
@GoDevilGod4 жыл бұрын
Not stupid at all - those are noodles for catfishing. They've got weights and hooks on them. Just throw them out while you're moving through the water. After fishing a little while, go back and pick them up. Sometimes you get really lucky, and they just sit and do the fishing for you while you're out boat riding.

I did! You were the one that marked the trail that leads to the bayou this was filmed on right before I head that way. This was filmed a few months after I caught those two big catfish when I was tightlining near that bridge past the Rue Da Kajun house - when you taught me what being "shackaid" is. And I definitely was that day me

Unfortunately, no. The hyacinths and invasive giant silvania block most of the water. I've heard of some people getting woodies out there, but who knows what's true. I've hunted there twice and been skunked both trips.

Isn't boating and drinking Illegal????
@GoDevilGod3 ай бұрын
Open containers are allowed in Louisiana, so long as you don't blow over .08, a boat operator is allowed to drive and drive. It's so cool, love it here.

Only if u get caught
@GoDevilGod3 ай бұрын
@@robertcampbell3900 No, it's legal for a boat operator to drink while operating. If you get stopped and blow over a .08 - then you're in trouble. However, if you don't, it's 100% legal to have an open container in your hand while operating a vessel in Louisiana. Been on the water my whole life, have many friends at LDWF, they have repeatedly confirmed this to my amusement.
