I played Ulala for 2 years when it first came out. I reinstalled it again 4 months ago and then uninstalled it. They changed Ulala so much that it's unplayable when you return. It's so sad, because in the second year the game was doing good stuff. After 1 year or so, they introduced packs and costumes that were outside 'normal' prices. You really had pay loads to get access to them. While before you could unlock most through the season passes and such. Our team reached the final zone and battle and that was it. When they introduced more zones, that's when the game started to go into the wrong direction. Catching pets were no longer supporting you, but were more of an attribute. Last thing I saw was that your pet did battle versus some npc. It's crazy when you've collected the ultra rare pets and then they decide to revamp the entire system.

Looks interesting or at least worth to try. The only issue would be the player party system. Ulala still does not have a good working party search system. I hope this one is better lol.

I think the party system is pretty good. On the stage section you only need a partner and it can you can follow offline players. Finding a party on stage progression is pretty easy. While on the dungeons/trials there are specific roles when matching up so it is easier to find a party.

So in Ulala, it felt like you had to have a solid team of 3 other players constantly and if you lost anyone it sucked ass. This is a lot different. Your only have 1 idle partner and you don't have to stick with them for any reason. The moment they are not useful to you, you can go solo or pick another person to idle with. Unlike Ulala, your idle party is not really used elsewhere. Dungeons/etc are 4 people or more and are done through matchmaking or manually making temporary parties for them.

This seems like a watered down version of Ulala. Having your "team" only be 2 people instead or 4 is super boring. Might as well just play by yourself at that point. Not sure what the point of teaming up even is when you can't form a proper party of tank, healer, ranged dps, melee dps etc.

I think it's good too. can play with significant other. Im sure they did it based on the analytics they get from ulala. and I bet you they noticed a significant amount of player actually had issue finding replacement when their teammate quit. Also people who play with significant other often play 2 characters each or 1 person play 3 characters. so I think 2 players isn't necessarily bad. I just hope other things are good in this game.

Idle games are amazing, what's your point? Just because you're a college dropout and have 17 hours a day in between your Mcdonald's shifts doesn't mean hard working people who can't spend the time playing 17 hours a day shouldn't be able to enjoy an idle game for a few sessions a day. Pay to win in games is a good thing, there's too many games now pushing this "f2p have a chance" nonsense mindset. the more p2w the better. The decline of gaming happened when devs started pushing more f2p friendly games.
