I always looked up to Belinda Carlisle and The Go-Go's growing up and if course they were my most favorite band @the time. Your music always took me to another place where I could be and just live... I remember that I was getting abused @ a very early age... while a baby in diapers until I left home @ 16 yrs of age. Needless to say life wasn't kind. Since I didn't have any help...jamming music, blasted all the way up...helped ease what I was feeling internally @the time. While jammin' out to Go-Go's music, or watching their video, dancing, singing...was my escape. I'm still here because of y'all and your music helped me immensely. California SHOULD be a Go-Go's song! Its a brilliant classic. Should have been on Real and if not, only the Gogos can do it justice and give it the place in musical history it deserves. If you cannot sing live, you should NOT be trying to sing for a living, that is the SIMPLE TRUTH. I know everyday people who can sing live. Get over the hype and see these people for who they are, not who they purport to be! The truth may sound mean, but honestly, people who cannot sing in tune make tons of money for literally dancing on stage. If you want to dance, go be a dancer. If you want to sing, learn to sing in tune.

I really like Belinda Carlisle's music in general and some of the GoGos stuff is good light hearted stuff, but this performance is awful, musically it sounds amateur at the very least and Carlisle's vocal performance is a little flat and very weak like she feels it's beneath "her repertoire"
