Hello My friend, yeah this Hotel was OK but a little overpriced i would say, you know what it's like, you go into a Hotel and sometimes it just don't do it for ya, and that was the case for me and Yvonne, but Tilly loved it lol.. This Hotel is in such a good location though right next door to a huge mall, and i will show some of that in a later video.. Hi Carl, glad to see that actually for future referance ! I stayed at the Loft last time; was quite a bit cheaper than the 'GO' you featured here and I wondered if it would be worth the difference......probably not, even though the rooms were very small at the Loft and no breakfast included. It was also noisy at night, but it was good value overall and very clean and good staff. Anyway, Tilly seemed to like it there and was happy [good to see her getting involved with your vlog] and you cannot really get closer to Robinsons which is very handy ! Hi John, this was a good hotel, but you know what it's like, when you first enter your hotel room for the first time, you sometimes get that WOW factor, well i certainly never got it here, but it was clean, good aircon, the staff were nice, but i thought it was overpriced for a 24 hour stay, and if one was staying longer than 24 hours then a small fridge would have been handy.. The location could not have been better though, that worked so well for me, and we went into the huge Robinson mall in the evening for a bite to eat.. I think if one was coming to Iligan city for the first time, then this place would be a perfect place to have your base from, it's nicely located for many things, plus they have the taxi rank here too.. i have not heard of the Loft hotel, i will check that out.. Happy New Year John, hope it will be a real good one for you my friend...

Well we quite often have water supply interruptions at our home, from running really slow, from coming out dirty looking from the tank, and sometimes no water at all, and on the day we came here we were having a bit of all three of the problems lol, so i said "it's holiday time so lets just check into a Hotel for the day", and off we went (smile) but am pleased to say the water is running well today.. This Hotel is quite popular in the Philippines, i believe they are actually part of the giant Robinson mall chain.. Don't get me wrong, the Hotel was very clean, and the staff were very polite, but i just thought it was overpriced and i did not like the room that much, it just didn't ring any bells for me ha ha, but all the rooms they do are exactly the same, and they do no Suite rooms which i would normally go for.. This one was OK and it was very clean and tidy, but you wanna see the Mall it's connected too, it's like a mini city all on it's own, and it's got just about everything in there mate, so one does not need to go far for a little bit of entertainment, and it's all under a huge aircon roof (smile).. Well, hey Carl ! Too bad you had to check into a Hotel for that reason, but sometimes emergency calls ! We had a Snowstorm here one year, ( We hardly ever get Snow! ) and it accumulated a solid foot of snow ! Drifts were 2, to 6 feet.. EVERY thing was closed ! Stores, Schools, Business, etc., for one week ! We had to check into the Holiday Inn for a week, as we lost our electric.. Had no heat, fridge, anything..so we figured was best! What a week ! ! ! The noise, always seems terrible at most any motel, I think..that always bothers me most..banging, thrashing, doors slamming, etc, etc, etc ! Maybe your next stay, will be better ! Hi Rich, well i actually like travelling and staying in different Hotels, the experience in all of them is always so different.. The best thing about this Hotel was it's location, it's actually part of the Huge Robinson Mall here in Iligan City, and it's got everything in there mate.. Hey your little adventure with all that snow sounded fun, but we often lose our electric here, it's part of everyday life, and we often have no water too.. I think our favorite so far, was staying at President Trump's Washington DC Hotel..It was very special, for a week..Unbelievable how much they can pamper a person! But great Food, Dining, & more.. We now have a few generators on hand, so we can produce our own power if needed.. Nice to have, being as remote we are ...The water, we never have a problem with, we have our own, 500 ft well ! ( unless the pump burns up! ) Looks like you are having fun, for the New Year allredy, have a great end of week there my friend !

Hi Carl, it's not bad after all mostly budget hotels nearby malls and highways were really noisy as the windows were not sound proof i guess. It's pretty ok for short stay .great thing the Ac is okay that's the most important thing and the mattress was it soft? Have you heard of Red planet hotels? They said it's better than Go.Hotels . Hiya Kaye, well i thought this Hotel was OK, it was very clean and tidy, and it was in a fantastic location being joined to one of the best shopping malls i have ever been in, and i have been in a quite few (smile) it just did not excite me very much ha ha.. I have heard of Red Planet Hotels but have never stayed in one before, well not that i can remember anyway (Grin) but this Hotel did supply a very good breakfast which pleased me.. That cracks me up... If a hotel doesn't have a hot water pot, I'm not staying... Did you already know they did not provide one?? I don't even have the patience to have to walk down to a resto to get my coffee... I just want to sit on a terrace, and drink my coffee in peace, and be left alone... After I have two cups, I am ready for whatever... Resto's over here look at you like you're a weirdo if you want a refill.. We have had water issues here in Cebu City before.. It was OK here Kevan, one thing i know you would have liked was the hot shower, as i remember you telling me how you like the hotels to have running hot water.. I was just happy to have any water, we often lose our water supply at home, but that is quite a common thing to happen here in the Philippines, and also losing the eclectic too, so it's good to be an adaptable person if living here.. This hotel was very clean, but the best thing about it for me was the location.. Thanks for watching mate.. Happy New Year...

That seem to be a good room , clean But I have a slight concern with the bed, how could that be a family room?, anyway, Brits and their Cuppa are created as one, so as their kettle heheeh

Hi my friend, yeah it was a nice room, but i thought the beds were a bit small actually, and yeah not really what one would call a family room, but they have no suite rooms, and i believe this room is exactly the same for everyone, but rooms that are just for a couple have one large bed instead of two souped up singles lol, because no way were these beds big enough to call them double beds, which is what they called them.. I always take my travel kettle when i go to stay in a hotel, we use it for our coffees and pot noodles (smile) .. Thanks for watching.. Happy New Year...
