Go-Ped Liquimatic Engine Rebuild and conversion to sport

1994 Model Liquimatic I got from Craigslist in non running condition. Zenoah 23LH Engine was rebuilt and frame repainted. Torque converter was broken when trying to remove it so I converted it to a sport using a Black Magic Spindle. Replaced the stock carb with a HP from DDM Racing.
I do have new wheels/tires, I'm just wearing out the originals first.

It supports the spindle at each side rather just at the engine side which in theory will help the bearings last longer and help prevent damage if you land on the back wheel with a lot of force.

How do you install the motor to the Dam frame

ive seen a few scraped and damaged pistons & cylinders due to the crank bearings wearing out and releasing pieces of metal into the motor. the greatest damage is on the spindle side bearing, so if you want your goped to last i would recommend a 3rd bearing support to avoid as much stress to the crank bearings as possible.

i rebuilt mine recently and i found a carb layin around and it turns out its the same as that one it was off a weed wacker and mine runs great i have a big throttle body on it

Yeah, you just remove the bolt at the end of the torque converter and heat it up with a blow torch and it will drop off. Then put on a regular sport spindle.

these types of engine have so much potential but no really good tuning stuff seems to exist? This cylinder would be good if u added metal by welding around intake, then grind out to fit reed valve and maybe a 24mm carb and extra transfer ports or even add extra transfers and keep piston port induction; we used to race 100cc karts with same carb idea, they were about 24mm; u can get nice big bore kits but they seem underpowered; 10-15bhp should be possible?

I wouldnt run mine without one... Other's say they arent needed, But the pro's (prevent damage to engine) outweigh the cons (extra tiny bit of weight and friction) for me.

Well I have to get my engine running before I buy any parts for it. I bought a crankcase for it and it won't start idk if its the carburetor I bought a new spark plug and it won't start.

You listen the nut and then put the nut so there's a little gap between the nut and the fly wheel and jam a screw driver behind it and put slight pressure on it and take a socket extension and a hammer and give it a few light taps

hey my goped sport engin is not running its best it is harder to start it is very weak slow and has a knoking sound in it when i turn it over that might be the problem

Can any smart person help me!?!?! I have a liquimatic and it will start... but that when I try to go it won't. I have know idea what it is I should do or what to replace. I was going down a hill and than all of the sudden, it just stopped.
