Good day, thank you for your tutorial, very helpful and practical. I have question about chord substitution, like instead of playing B we substitute it with Bsus or B7, are we not changing the sound of the song? What if we are playing with a band where the piano plays B, is it going to be fine?

I like it but it's over simplified . And to me when someone else plays these drone chords with the old stuff it sounds fine. But when I pick up my guitar and use drones on the old hymnal stuff, it doesn't sound like it fits well 🤔🤔 so I naturally have to put in all the 7s and choppy chord changes to hear the original sound of these type songs . However on modern music I use the open chords regularly. Because they don't sound right without this style. Great lesson tho 💯
