The reason you have Acts 2 v 38 is because Jesus is God. So therefore you baptised in his name. It is the same thing he said in Matthew 28 v 19. Person just did not understood. The scripture read. What is the name of the name of the Father Jesus the name of son Jesus the name of the Holy Ghost Jesus Hence Jesus in the upper room and breathe upon them receive the Holy Ghost. Peter spoke under the power of the Holy Ghost. Jesus said 'when the Holy Ghost come, the Holy Ghost will lead you into all truth. Peter spoke the truth under the Holy Ghost. Read Revelation. One throne one God. There was no seat for Jesus or the Holy Ghost. Because God is all three. God will reveal if you ask him. God gave me the revelation that Jesus is God.
