First of all you need to check whether that particular University accepting Duolingo or not ? There are mostly Russell group University also accept Duolingo test like University of Birmingham, University of Southampton, KentUniversity, Sheffield hallam University and even irish University also accept Duolingo English language test. So first of all check all the facts ! And there will be slightly any chance that Duolingo will send such a mail to University unless there is fraud or cheating in exam
