This series gave me a reality check that love is not going to fix everything. There are so many factors. Even if people are in love it’s so difficult to keep relationship afloat. I haven’t watched it till the end yet but I guess they won’t be together anymore? It’s so pity though because this nurse guy was the best one of all his exes😢 Even after knowing that main lead has hiv he didn’t leave. They also shared the same interests and he didn’t make him feel like shit like the second dude did

The fact he felt safer than to his friends to tell his secret moved me because he really felt that Gyu Ho was really the definition of love and although that Gyu Ho will forever remain as the lantern that they once lit up, he was engraved into his heart as the real love he once longed for. Go Yeong might have given up to the real love he'd ever known in his life and although his wish that he wrote to the lantern never made it, he remains as the love he'll continue to hope for - forever.

this couple is just! Pure perfection ✨🤧 but seriously! As much as it hurts... For me I totally think that Go young letting go of Gyu ho and them totally separating was the best thing. Cause if they didn't I really don't think Go young would totally realize How much Gyuho meant to him. Gyuho loved him unconditionally despite EVERYTHING! He accepted him despite Kylie, his mood swings, his temper, him always being so harsh to him. He always tries to make their relationship work and as I rewatch the series I realized that Go young was a little Unfair to him. He loves him but he didn't realize it and totally didn't treasure Gyuhos worth when he was still beside him... He kinda took advantage of Gyuhos love for him. And I freaking hate it cause ghod! Gyuho was so precious! He didn't deserve that, so I feel like it was the best option for him🥺 but when Go young started to reminisce all the moments he had with him in the last two episodes... it hits so hard😭 but like I said he needed that! And Gyuho being gone... he finally realized how much he loved Gyuho and how he could have treasured the moment he had with him during their Bangkok trip🥺 the way he was so miserable and the longing he felt was too much to handle 😭 so I kinda wish there's a season2 cause despite all that they deserve a better ending, they deserve to meet again... And When they do... I'm sure Go young would be a better lover to him! But instead we got that heartbreaking ending where he Was still longing for Gyuho🤧 I also wish we atleast got to see a glimpse of Gyuhos life in Shanghai.. but we didn't cause that's literally how the book ended 😭!

😭😭😭😭😭I was and still am in pieces at that ending, I been lost in my own mind about this story that I didn't even think about how things ended in the book, now my heart's breaking all over again. For me, I know Yeong wasn't very good to Gyu Ho but I still wanted them together, but as you're putting it, perhaps instead of just longing for him, ayeoung has to go after him so that even Gyu Ho sees the pursuit and interest because towards the end, Yeong really was nonchalant about everything and that is a painful response to get from someone who you love. GyuHo's last word to Yeong was "are you going to be okay without me?" And the answer is a huge bold NO 😭

I thought I was going to binge watch all the episodes but I realized I wanted to savor each one. I watched two at a time. I knew what was going to happen since I had read the book. It didn’t lessen my sadness when I finished the last episode. Truly a work of art. All the actors were pretty awesome.

This is a MASTERPIECE. Left me with this giant ache in my chest (basically how I feel every time I even so much as even THINK about them). It's impossible for me not to get teary eyed during the lantern scene. The realism of them loving each other so much but sometimes love just not being enough still hits deep. Such a heartfelt and meaningful drama. I can't stop thinking about it. It's everything I needed it to be and more. This edit captures all of those feelings of love, longing and pain so well. I've read the book so I knew what was coming, but watching it all unfold on screen felt so much heartbreaking to me than when I first read it. Thank you for making this ❤

I usually don't watch asia bl or anything that is considered bl in general since I can't really relate to it and feel like they're mainly made for straight girls, but this one??, I'm really obsessed with it, like it's so good from every aspect, one thing i really like abt it is that it's never really shy or scared of it's queerness, to really show 2 guys kissing passionately on screen 😂 since whenever i see asian bl, it's like they're always holding back, and the actors seem to be very uncomfortable as well, but this show, everything is chefs kiss, from the actor, the writing etc....i really enjoyed it, i just like how realistic it is, but it also still gives this hope, like it's not always sad or it's not always like a fairytale, but that's exactly how life is right?

Firstly, an amazing edit! well done!! Secondly, I must say this is one of the best if not IS the best BL series thus far! the chemistry between all the characters, the plot, the storyline, the rollercoaster of emotions, BEST! Lastly, I am glad that BL now transcend just beyond the high school romance but touched on the basic subject of being love and loving someone despite their gender, beliefs and their health status! This is by far the most raw take on how the community is facing on their daily lives... KUDOS LITBC team!

Since I watched the last episode, every single moment from the previous ones appears in my mind as a movie, a glimpse of both main characters and other supporting roles. Every character may seem to tell different stories-love, friendship, hurt after breaking up, and even Kylie. This storyline will be the masterpiece and remembered till the rest of my life. I do believe Gyu Ho will come back to Korea after finishing his work, and then they will come back together because their love is like a tree root, fragile but sturdy, quiet but surging like an undercurrent. Meanwhile, Go Young can learn how to love himself and be more confident. Sometimes, being apart definitely shows how important that person is to each one of us. Being far away in distance isn't as scary as we think; being far away in heart is much more hurtful. Let's Gyo Ho and Go Young find a way of coming back together in their own; when they can do that, believe me, they will love each other as well as themselves more than ever.

The ending is open. We know Gyu Ho is about to return to Korea for some "unfinished business". Young Go has already realised how much he loved Gyu Ho. I only need a couple more episodes with them reuniting in Korea and living happily ever after. I loved the drama but I d prefer it to stay in my memory as a story with a happy ending. I was crying so badly... I don't wanna 2season actually, there is no ongoing for this story. All these happened for reasons. It seems like go young just accepted all love gyu gave him. The previous guy said like it's clear that Go young was loved in his family that's why he can love. In truth, his parents were unhappy, they didn't love each other, so Go young didn't know how to love Gyu purely. I was angry of the ending because of Go Young - so stupidly and harsh lose this kind of love to make it be only memories.
