One thing that really stood out is the idea that many people bring their messy lives before the lord (or don’t) as if they’re liabilities when they’re actually assets

I love your humble REAL way of preaching! Thank you for the love you show for your "bride" and children. You set an example for men throughout the world just by allowing us to see a REAL MAN who also is a PASTOR. No pretending to be perfect or judgment for others how truly refreshing!! And your hair is gorgeous!! I pray you are blessed as abundantly as you bless those who listen to your words with their hearts. Praise God for your shining example!! 💖

Where does this guy live? I’ve never known a culture that doesn’t tell the people in their life what they think of them and saves up all the things they don’t like about them for when they leave?!?!? That’s bizarre. We don’t have that culture in the uk. And who wouldn’t admit it if their life was in a mess? Isn’t it obvious to friends and family etc anyway? I’m thinking more about what a bizarre culture this guy comes from although obviously it’s not bizarre to him, I’ve just never heard of a culture like that before.

I believe that in a lot of encounters, people shy away from conflict believing that it is love and when there is a departure, most people don't depart in peace and therefore there normally is either a careless tongue lashing of words or either backbiting. Each person, culture and ways of communicating are different. I hope this helps? 💙
