The same could be done for Dabolim....Dabolim is more scenic. Once you land Dabolim you feel and smell Goa...both airports should be maintained....

yes you can but if the bag is open you cannot carry on connecting flights, But you can carry in flight even open bottle.

It is uncertain how the airport will recoup the ₹32.01 billion investment and when it will break even. Operating flights and generating revenue from liquor sales, parking fees, and advertising alone will not be sufficient. Even the airlines using the airport may not benefit significantly. This creates a paradox in the dynamics of the aviation business. The primary beneficiaries will likely be the investors who have invested in the 200 acres of land around the airport. This may be the only positive outcome after the 40-year concession period; two years have passed. It raises the question of whether it is worth it.

They destroyed greenery 😢 to construct Airport which is located in one corner of Goa. They could construct it in Rocky and unproductive spacious land like Madkai, Verna or any central unproductive land. Slowly Dabolim airport is dying and air traffic is moving down to this airport. For Goans it’s hard to get an advantage of this airport, Access is hard because of its location, destroyed eco sensitive area. Now we will loose surrounding greenery as builders will get rush in to that are. Feeling really very sad😢 and hard to go to home after long air journey. Cities like madgao, Ponda and cancon is really far from this place.Our Goa was and is in wrong hands.

Looks like the Architect was confused , he didn’t know if he had to look for inspiration from Goa past architectural history or look at the Future design statement. Goa should have portrayed a more eco friendly design using local materials like bamboo, coconut , sand and sun(light).
