Anjuna Flea Market on Wednesday is a treasure trove of trinkets, handicrafts, hippie clothing, souvenirs and everything else from cheap bags to footwear and junk jewellery. Also popular as the queen of hippie flea markets, the Anjuna Flea Market as much a part of the Goa experience as the beaches. Besides the trinkets and regular knick-knacks, Anjuna Flea Market also hosts live music and band performances.

I was at Anjuna market 16 years ago, I absolutely loved it. There is so much beautiful silver jewellery and incredible textiles in India. I had two cotton patterned salwar kameez made to measure in Rajasthan that I still wear today as pyjamas, I love them and you can't buy them here in the UK (you can buy salwar kameez but not in the beautiful patterned cotton, it's all polyester).
