Few things for people for your 1st long rides and 1. Wear full sleeves and full fingered gloves. It saves from sunburn apart from safety. Layered clothes are good since you can take them off if it's too hot. 2. Wear a balaclava or a big handkerchief inside your helmet to avoid dust. People who wear spectacles have an advantage here. 3. Ride at a constant speed at which you are comfortable, say 70-90 kmph is fine. Avoid riding at faster speeds as its tiring and doesn't make a big difference in terms of saving time. 4. Take breaks according to your comfort. I, personally, take a break every 50 kms for 5 mins. Some light stretching and water and then off again. To each his own. 5. Avoid driving at night. Its better to stay at a hotel. 6. Start early for the first day. 2nd day onwards, its up to you and your body. If you feel fresh, start early. 7. Most important, don't set a target for xyz kms per day. It will lead to unnecessary anxiety and can even lead to irrational decisions. Deep is following all these things which is why he is able to such long distances. But, I would advise him to avoid night riding. I enjoyed the video. Keep it up.

@ 34.12 the town overlooking below is Khopoli. Its an industrial town and so the industries have a heavy lighting which glow at nights! :-) I took the route from Pune --> Kolhapur-> Gaganbawda -> Kankavali -> Goa and coming back was the same route which you took bhau.via Amboli Ghat (my ride in 2008 on my CBZ!) Its 2023 now and I have settled abroad. Still miss those moments ! as you say there is just 1 life and its all about moments!

Hi Deep, This video made me recollect my memories from 2015 when I did Golden Quadrilateral.. when you got excited whilst riding on Udaipur Highway .. The same feeling I had too... I squeezed throttle of my Duke 390 did the top speed 170+ I could.. still I felt ... I am too slow on that Highway... it's always like .... Dil Mange more!!! Speeeeeeed!!!!!! 😅.. Good going 👏 👌 👍

I have done Vadodara to Jaipur 4months ago when I was shifting from Vadodara to Jaipur (currently I am staying in Jaipur) and took the same route, the road and the scenarios are splendid. Enjoyed this one too....part of the route is one I do often l, though now by car...had done the Pune Udaipur Delhi ride long ago 1989,....yes, the Gujarat stretch does have heavy truck traffic, easier on a bike than in a car but equally more risky too. Ride safe, take care..

Glad you had a safe ride. Please keep in mind that the tyre pressure is best checked within 1-2kms of a start up. If you ride a long distance the tyre pressure goes higher thanks to the constant friction with the road (heat).

Brutal ride brother! It's better to ride 12-14 hours, rest for 8-10 hours and then continue. Please attend to the fork oil leak as soon as possible. If left unattended, it'll completely damage your front forks and might lead to an accident! Also, check tire pressures only on cold tires! If tires are hot, deflate them completely and then fill to be sure of the pressure.
