Had so much fun making this one! I love the sound of the classic Goa trance and feel so inspired by it 😊 What is your favorite electronic music genre?

I believe a lot of 90s goa trance was done on them sequencers as its got them similar rhythums in the main melodies

Love this like I love all the video's I've seen of yours. I have a question, How do you map midi cc's between the electribe and other hardware? I've connected my Micro Korg to my Electribe and for this example, I'd like pitch bend (CC80) to be transmitted. Is this possible to do?
@RandomNoiseMusic Жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching and the kind words! 🙏 Usually I don't really control the Electribe from other gear or through MIDI and rely on its own knobs and buttons, I only sync it with other devices tempo. But usually the way midi works is the you need to connect from the midi in of one device to the midi out of another, and then check the manual for the mapping, and how it can be configured to control specific parameters. Hope this is helpful!

hai Man! there is a way to copy / multiply bars on a pattern on electribe 2?
@RandomNoiseMusic2 жыл бұрын
Hey, there is no direct way to copy bars (and it sucks that there isn't..), but when you start working on your pattern, keep it to one bar. Once you feel ready, extend the length of it to more than 1, and it will be duplicated across automatically.
@DaniDanielo20002 жыл бұрын
@@RandomNoiseMusic yes ,but It works just on default user patterns,and just for electribe synthesizer (blue one).On other patterns is not working - if i delete all notes from 4 bars and then switch to 1bar to write new notes, and again, If multiply there will be empty bars... With electribe 2 sampler (Red one)the same problem ,but even on default user patterns :) Thanks for help !
@RandomNoiseMusic2 жыл бұрын
The copy to all bars works ONLY if you didn't change anything on the other bars. They designed it in such a strange way, it is really frustrating to work on a full bar, accidentally changing something on the rest of empty bars to find out that you can't extend it... happened to me so many times 😔. So you got to be careful not change anything and then it will work fine regardless the version of E2 (blue or red)

Random, when the 2 devices are connected with midi, i think! Wich device has the control of the other and why? Sorry i'm only 68 y old, and it's not 'simple'
@RandomNoiseMusic2 жыл бұрын
Both ways work, you just need to define one as master clock and the other as slave to follow that. But I think that in this specific setup I used Ableton Live as the master to sync both units via USB (both support midi through usb). I did that because i wanted the recording to sync to tempo and timeline of Live

And there is no age for music haha, so keep it up!! Happy to help with any question! :)

@@RandomNoiseMusic je ne comprend rien 'nothing' to ableton live.? What this used to??
@RandomNoiseMusic2 жыл бұрын
Ableton Live is a software, a DAW - Digital Audio Workstation. Its used for multitrack recording on a computer. You can use it to record audio or sequence midi. I recorded my jams into it, so when I use two devices, I prefer that they are synced to the clock that is in Ableton Live

You can check out this tutorial ive made long time ago for more details on how i use Electribe with Ableton Live: kzbin.info/www/bejne/h4Wlh5ica7hkm80

Nothing formal or professional. In short, ive been messing up with drum machines and synths since i was a teenager. I was making very basic electronic music back then until my mid 20s (mainly for myself and friends, nothing professional) and then stopped because of different events during life. Ive decided to come back to it a couple of years ago, and so this channel was born :) if you are curious about the full story, ive kind of shared it over here: randomnoisemusic.com/who-is-random-noise/
