Firstly its totally safe to be in Goa and will recommend you hiring a 2 wheeler to explore the city, as it will be much more convinient to commute with. Also if your not familier much with the city you can consider a day trip for local sightseeing and rest you can explore by your own( like different beaches etc) on your 2 wheeler... Hope it helps 🤗

Else will suggest you staying at calangute , it has good food options, beach is also nearby and not as much crowded as Baga ... Anjuna will be very far and isolated ... But if you want a peaceful stay and just enjoy the beach then its the place..

South Goa mein you can stay in vasco ya fir panaji mein bhi.... yha per do din stay karke south goa ke famous beach cover kar sakte ho (palolem, colva, butterfly etc), Yha se jo famous church hai Goa ki vo bhi pass mein hi padegi...
