GOENCHIM NOKETRAM , is an Internationally acclaimed Goan Folk and Musical troupe that is aimed at Preserving , Promoting and Protecting the unique cultural heritage of Goa. It was formed in the year 2007, and in the last 10 years have been invited to perform in 19 countries. One of the countries that GN has performed is Grenada. It was for the Grenada carnaval in 2011. the music that reverberates for the Grenada carnaval is SOCA, and thats why this song GOA-TUZO MOG MHAKA which is the theme song of our album is a confluence of KONKANI LYRICS and SOCA RHYTHM.....
This song speaks about Goa and is built around a concept that by listening to our song, a family settled abroad feels nostalgic and takes a decision to come to Goa.
