I don’t believe he ruined football the way he sets up his teams. For me, the problem is when (journalists, fans and some managers) begin to insinuate that having long spell of ball possession and being always on the attack is the ‘right’ way of playing football. Majority of journalists on twitter are pushing this narrative religiously and they talk down on any manager’s success that does not involve “modern football ideas”. He ended Reals trophy drought winning the Copa Del Rey and the La Liga Title in his First 2 seasons. Won the EFL Cup, Europa League and Community Shield with a very bad Manchester United side, finished 2nd in his second season and failed the season after because United didn't bother investing in his project. What he did at Inter and Porto were nothing short of a miracle, which I strongly believe Pep can never do nor dare to try.

Inter Milan, Porto, Benfica, Chelsea, and Manchester United are some of the biggest clubs in their respective leagues/countries. I agree, Pep is a very good manager, probably the best right now. But what Jose has achieved in his career, in my opinion, is nothing less than special. Pep has had it easy at every club he managed if you compare him to a Jose Mourinho or even Jurgen Klopp.
