Dude, these videos are so good. 🤙 What’s your take on the size craze with keepers? Legit statistically or is it just scout-think “bigger must be better”?

Personally I don’t care about size really at all. From what I’ve found, the advantage or disadvantage height brings is pretty negligible unless you’re on the extreme ends. I think generally people think bigger goalies are better because they “naturally take up more space” but even then I don’t really buy into that. Statistically, I haven’t found crazy hard evidence supporting either claim but I’ve found that generally there really isn’t any significant differences in many facets. Big ones people think about are screens which don’t find much difference in, and it’s not even necessarily true that small goalies get scored on high shots. For example, 5’11 Ivankovic is above average for Goals against in the upper half of the net whereas vs 6’5 Ravensbergen is below average in that area.
