As a Leeds fan I will say this. Our keeper gave the ref no option Millar was the best player on the park today. Our penalty was a bit soft but we will take it as we've been wronged more times than enough over the year's. PNE deserved 3 pts and for the record I thought the ref had a good game

As a pne fan I'd say that was a fair reflection. Preston weren't amazing but they were more up for it and the keeper was already being all 10 men and head to head even before the daft hand to the face and no ref can just let that go. The penalty was never a penalty and the winner by Millar deserved to win any game imo. Leeds are still in a great position and should just put it behind them and move on. Everyone can beat everyone on their day in this division and its the most competitive division probably in world football. Thats just how it goes.

Agree, Meslier knows the rules , can’t do that even tho it is a stupid rule, the bloke was never hurt (and if that’s the level assessed as dangerous then every tackle that goes in should be a red, that’s how stupid it is!). But, it it the Rule and Meslier showed immaturity and stupidity in equal measures, he bought one. Let’s hope we appeal it . Oh, and Leeds fan here [for 50 years’).

Putting your hand on someone's face is a clear red card. Even though there was very little force and the Preston player pathetically rolled around on the floor it is a blatant red card. You just can't do that in the laws of the game.

People are complaining about the red card, but it was hand to face and he's gotta go. Otherwise, it just becomes a discussion about whether it was hard enough to the face for a red or a yellow, and that's a subjective decision by the ref and would be ridiculous. The players know you can't do it. The penalty was a joke though.

Messiler or whatever his name is definitely deserved the red card. He shows clear intent to cause harm to Osmajic. He exherts force to do so. This shows why it is a red. Osmajic on the other hand almost certainly simulated the push but he gets penalised. The referee made the right decision unfortunately for Leeds fans. The loss of control from messiler lost them the game and allowed Preston to batter them even more.

Leeds have over achieved, they don't have the quality upfront or in defence, need countless efforts to score, Southampton are clinical and usually score with every attack and have players WHO can score all over the park. Everyone who says that was a soft penalty did not see that James was tripped and then forced to the ground in the box. Meslier was at fault even under provocation, but the diver should have had a yellow, very poor behaviour, but pne were winding up players all game, poor teams do this unfortunately. Archie had a nightmare, result was down to Farke and lack of quality, Piroe not being played to his strengths and Spence should be playing on the right side, the cross should have been better dealt with by spence for their second goal virtually a free header. Farke is too stubborn, this team is mid table at best, wish the fans would not keep bulling up the team, three horse race for the title, I doubt by Feb we will be in contention and will drop out of the top six. Too many mistakes, midfield was poor and giving the ball away far too cheaply (remember last season?). In gods name who in their right mind thought that fielding a team in PINK was a great idea!!!!!! Pink is not worn by MEN!
