Hey guys. I just wanted to first and foremost say thanks again to Andrew, Bobby, Shane and everyone else who made this video possible. We’ll have to come back to Guyana soon! Second of all, sorry about how dirty the sensor of our camera was. We didn’t have the right tools to clean it at the time… and yeah, it’s bad. I can guess many of you might be wondering what’s next for the channel. Well, Nikki and I have already started out next trip. And the next video will be coming out pretty soon. Everything will be different. If you’re interested, don’t forget to subscribe. Thanks for watching. Max & Nikki

Sorry about the loss of your dog in Boa Vista, great to see you back. Loved the editing and presentation of your vlog. Not been to Guyana since my childhood many many decades ago, brought back good memories of eating coconuts, cashew, mangos, plantains, back dam safaris in land rovers and listening to Bob Marley blasting from every radio back then! The floating bridge was built in 78 before that you had to get a car ferry to cross the river, the British built the first railway in South America along the coast, it was dismantled in 74. Another ferry from Parika takes you to Essequibo west coast, its worth a visit.

How cool to see Shane on KZbin 😅 we have met Shane in Georgetown and he invited us over to his place. We were the ones who put his place on iOverlander. Nice to see that he is now receiving other overlanders. He is a great guy!

And we also met the guys with those big trucks in Cusco. The Unimog actually rolled over south of Manaus on the BR 319. The cabin got destroyed and they had to end their trip and ship back home only a couple of weeks into their trip.
@goaloneTV3 ай бұрын
Haha we saw your marker on iOverlander when we were planning the route. Then we met up with Andrew and he was like, "I'm taking you to my friends" and yeah, small world! Crazy about the unimog flipping, that sucks.

Jim Jones and his people were Americans. Guyana is not his stomping ground. He bought land in the jungle of Guyana. Guyana is more than Jim Jones and yes our people are happy.
@drop8303 ай бұрын
@@Westindiangyal1111 yeah I get that Guyana is more than just Jim Jones. No where in my post did I say that. It's what us Americans think of when we see Guyana though. It was a pretty big deal here. But thanks to amazing videos like this one, people can learn more about your beautiful country, other than that terrible tragedy

Curious what your thoughts are regarding size comparison between your rig and that 1st gen 4Runner , specifically how much interior space they have? I’m building a 1st gen 4runner rocklander myself and just curious since you’ve seen both side by side. Would you do the pan am in a 4Runner modded similar to yours ?
@goaloneTV2 ай бұрын
I think the difference in size is minimal. The land cruiser might be taller inside but not by much. I think either rig is a great choice!
