Okra / Bhende / Lady Fingers - 250 gms
Onion - 1 medium size
Tomato - 1 medium size
Garlic - 5 cloves medium size
Green Chillies - 2
Kokum / Garcinia Indica - Around 6 to 7
Turmeric / Haldi powder - ¼ tsp
Cumin / Jeera seeds - ½ tsp
Mustard seeds - ½ tsp
Freshly grated Coconut - 3 to 4 tbsp
Coconut Oil / Cooking Oil - 3 tbsp
Salt - 1 tsp
Water - ¼ cup / 60 ml

Thank you, will try this at the weekend. Looks yummy.Is the Kokum edible, or needs to be removed and discarded after cooking???❤

You're welcome @prodr5029 & thank you for your comment. The Kokum is edible, however it will have no taste after it's cooked with the vegetable as most of its sourness will be infused in the vegetable. So it's best to discard the Kokom while eating the vegetable. 🙂
