My humble request to all elected Representatives not to get upset for all these Protests by the Locals coz they are doing this in the interest of their State Goa which is their and yours its a Honour and Prestige to safe guards its Identity then to b taken away or getting merged North Goa with Maharashtra and South Goa with Karnataka. So please view all these that will lose Goa its Identity and OUTSIDERS will b seen in Goa Assembly. If they can buy properties in Goa of worth Croes why not a seats in Assembly ???? Just think. The police were everywhere. They were standing right behind the group, protecting the entrance to the site. Will be visible in long range shots. They were out in force on the main road and all along the highway for 2kms between Shantadurga Temple, where we assembled and for the entire stretch upto the Bhutani site.
