He's been nominated for an Oscar for music he's produced on Mudbound Nominated for an Emmy for his work on Lovecraft Country... He recently won a Grammy for Cuff It on the Renaissance album by Beyoncé and has been nominated for Grammy's since "Anniversary" He won a Grammy for D'Angelo "Be Here" Some of this I looked up because I didn't know ... However, I did know about Lovecraft Country and MudBound. I also know about his work with Beyoncé and Solange. Now I did some of the work for you... Google him because there's more.

Back in the day, I sang background vocals for my buddy when we opened for Goapele at the TLA in Philly. She was incredibly kind and gracious. I got a preview on podcasts 😂. I love that she mentioned ‘One Mo Gin’ by D’Angelo. That’s always been one of favorites from Voodoo. I definitely performed it in a couple rooms where no one had a clue what I was singing😅. Great episode!!
