Goat Farming in Kenya Farm Update | Preparing for first kidding season

‪@manualgoatfarm015‬ It's kidding season. In this goat farming update we are preparing for our first kidding season.
We are currently expecting kids from about 20 mothers. We are hopping for an 100% twinning rate which is impossible. A 50% Twinning rate would give us 30 kids.
We will be embarking on the construction of a kids pen in the next view days and we hope to share a time lapse video of the construction.

Good job. Ensure to quarantine especially the market goats lest one day they infect the entire flock. It's a good farm practise even if bought from another farmer.

@@manualgoatfarm015 Atleast 1 week to ensure that the goats don't show case any signs of sickness that can infect your old stock. The antibiotics you will have administered will assist to kill any bacteria they might have gotten at market or in transit
