Those feeders are a great idea. It is so much safer for you guys. No one realizes what a wallop even the kids can hit you with when running or jostling for food. The kids did a good job helping you guys clean it up and install the new feeders. Looks great!! It's good to see you back up and about. You are looking really good.

Yes they are nice. I have some others were the tray is on the inside and the goats stand in it and poop in it. They can’t do that with these. Appreciate you watching

Good fence job! Help just makes a job go faster and you are all together working. Seemed to me you felt so much better and that it just boosted you in being able to get out and do the lifting and cutting the fence, etc. I will be heading to Texas on Sunday...my daughter and her family are in Dallas area. Those feeders are really nice. My goats push their feeders all over the place and they get inside them and do their other business in them so I have to clean the feeders out before feeding them.

Looks like the feeders are backwards to me the trough looks like it would be on the eating side. The bucket would still have room to pour the feed on the short side. What happens when a horn gets stuck when they have to turn there heads like that. Josh at Hidden Heights needs this for his other herd.

That’s the concept so they don’t get in the trough and mess in it. They have to turn their heads just enough to get the feed. Only their nose and mouth goes in.

That makes so much sense. If there’s not a wide enough platform for hooves and climbing in it, they can’t poop in it or bend it with their weight. So smart!

It went from looking junky in that area to very nice and neat! Great idea bc uncle Joe is getting up in age and doesn’t need to be knocked down. Broken bones at his age I’m sure are hard to heal and longer to heal. It was good to have the boys there to help. The weather turned out good for working outside too. The end result is very nice. I know nothing about fenceline feeders so I kept thinking the wider part of the feed tray should be toward the goats instead of on the backside. But the goats handled it beautifully. Looks aesthetically really nice too. Great job!

Where can I get some of these feeders? My 80 year old mother helps me feed when I am at work in the morning and I do not like her going into the pen on her own, she often goes out to feed without anyone else, I would feel much better with a set of these for her safety.

I like the other feeders you have used Rivera custom feeders
