I get such joy out of watching your wonderful family, all the skills and good lessons in hard work, with a big dose of self control and obedience. Love your channel. Can't get enough of you guys. I have a question because I am a city boy. Retired actually. I have done some traveling in Texas and up north toward Oklahoma border I ran into some ranches/farms that had nothing but weened calves. Lot's of them. Why? Did not see any mature cows at all. Any reason why someone would get just calves other than growing a herd?

From 450 to 650 pounds is the fastest money to be made on cattle Some peoples business is buying calves putting some pounds on them then flipping them hopefully for a nice profit
