Yes , me also and I was not his fan but live in Melbourne , I sat up on hearing morning news ‘ detained at airport , placed in detention centre , did not know we had one but that was the beginning o my advocacy my outspoken comments re the abuse , inhumane abuse pf a man who came to defend his title . It was brutal what they did to him I don’t know how he do not sue my country as I would have stood witness even it meant I would be ostracised as I did it because I have been bullied but this goes way too far and it is abhorrent bias , deplorable in tennis etiquette that French Open he booed walking on to play NAdal Since when. Do we do that but look at AO final and all is revealed . Danii Medvedex played a rambunctious footy like rude distractedly arena who booed him also , applauded double fault but blatant distraction on serve between serves , he had no chance of playing his best ! Bias I see now for AO to host the event that saw Nadal claim that 22 Slams ! I have no respect for AO or Tennis Australia , Craig Tilley as why did they allow medic access to ask players their opinion on another players Vusa Status is beyond unethical , defines bias and high school like bullying ! Not a very nice person. While Nadal is annoying as well as a diva. His so called routine before he served and the routine after every point played is beyond annoyance. He took so long to serve and to dry himself ... he should strip himself down and then towered his whole body. This is just wasting time and putting off the opponents...He's so immature. And the media never commented about these quirky habits of his. Only one chair umpire did and Nadal asked ATP not to put that umpire on when he's playing. Again this was not reported in the media... But when it comes to Djokovic it's all a different story alle will be reported and more his name is dragged through the mud even when he wasn't involved e.g.toilet breaks. Now everybody knows the so called good guys like Federer and Nadal also took toilet breaks when they down a set or two...it's not only Djokovic. We are all human beings, we need toilet breaks. If it's wrong to do it then don't do it.. two wrongs don't make a right, man...ATP has a lot to answer for the year 2022. The liberal party of Australia got kicked out of the government for humiliating Djokovic during AO 2022. Nasty actions get nasty consequences. Novak used to be my least favorite big three by far. Seeing the media make up negative naratives about him has actually made me a fan of Novak. Australia's vaccine rules are rediculous. All of them use the toilet break to break the opponent’s momentum. There is nothing wrong in that, it is strategic. It’s in within the rules. The problem is Nadal Can take several long breaks , but others can’t. Unfair.

I have checked out all of your videos and my favourites are the dispassionate, statistical dismantling of the prevailing bs GOAT narratives. They are amazing. The media have now replaced Fed with Rafa as the GOAT, now that the former is for all intents purposes retired (and surpassed). As for this video, tennis is indeed rife with bias, double standards and hypocrisy where Djokovic is concerned. You mentioned talking about things like draws and scheduling in the future. I'm sure that information would take a long time to compile, but I for one await those with great interest. It's funny how Fed has played 200+ matches more than Novak, but Novak has more wins against top 10 players - and he has almost 50 more than Nadal. Anyway, once again, amazing stuff. That’s just normal unfortunately; the crowd will always do everything in their power to rattle the player they want to lose. I once played a high school match in which my opponent’s coach, who was standing directly behind me, would shout towards my opponent as I was about to serve. I won the match in a third set tiebreak, and even though I didn’t play well throughout the match, I still consider that one of my most memorable wins.

Talk about faking injuries and toilet break. In the 2007 Wimbledon women final Marion Bartoli called for the trainer after losing the first set and was down a break in the second set. Venus then also called for a trainer after they finished with Bartoli. I think Venus knew that Bartoli was faking her injuries so Venus also got a trainer and let Bartoli wait. Venus won in straight sets

I totally agree with you. If Federer and Nadal get along so well despite their sportive rivalry, it is just because they represent the same business and share the same interests, which Nole doesn't do. The way the two "legends" have used the ATP for their own purpose (money, of course) is simply outrageous. That is why I support Djokovic, who moreover is the GOAT without a doubt. However I would like to draw your attention to one thing that you may not know and could make you reconsider the way Moratoglou spoke about Tsitsipas's toilet break, by suggesting that Nole did it first in 2021. At that time, Moratoglou was Tsitsipas's coach and could not do anything but defend him by any way, even if it meant to forget one or two facts. But you have to know that before that, Moratoglou has always been a big defender of Djokovic and has never missed an opportunity to say that, from his point of view, Nole was the best player of the three when everyone was at his peak level. And he still says it over and over on French TV (by the way, I am French, which allows me to hear him a lot). I look forward to watching your upcoming video about doping issues in tennis. I’ve always thought the sportsmanship award is cringe, but there’s one good thing about it: Rafa didn’t win it in 2022. And I think Ruud deserved it that year; one particular act of sportsmanship that stands out to me was that he conceded a point to Alcaraz in a grand slam final. If there was a gamesmanship award, Rafa would have won it that year. Total lack of class from him starting in Australia and continuing through Wimbledon and beyond.

Completely agree, there has always been a general negative reaction to Djokovic in both the Western media and crowds, and of course all the casual fans who think of things more in terms of a personality contest (the same idiotic way they think of political elections...), and while the argument that "it's just because people like Federer and Nadal more that they are against Djokovic" may have some truth to it, I think it's more of a partial truth that is used to cover up and not mention the rest of the truth, the big ugly elephant in the room, that Djokovic is from a nation that was bombed by NATO, is not an ally of the West, and as such has been itself unjustly and maliciously vilified in the Western corporate media (it should be called state media, because that is exactly how it functions, but that's the trick which makes their propaganda so effective, having people believe that they truly live in a "free society" and that their "free press" would never lie about anything for the benefit of the state, like they have been told over and over is how the media works in nations that are the enemies of the West/NATO... when it is clear to anyone truly paying attention that when it's time for a war of choice, or proxy war of choice, or coup against a rightfully elected leftist leader in a third world nation, the whole Western corporate media "free press" all sing the same tune, every time, no exceptions). And I guarantee, that is a large part of the psychological factors that make so many Western tennis fans and media take a negative view of Nole, despite him being the most consistently respectful, gentlemanly, and sportsmanlike out of all of the top players, despite the adversity and negativity he has constantly faced. But of course, this can never be spoken out loud. Even when he is the only one seriously trying to bring attention to how unfair the pay distribution is for lower ranked players, directly against his own self interest, he gets no positive recognition for it. And, as you say, absolutely, his deliberate refusal to play along with the corrupt establishment, to have nothing to do with it and just focus on doing his best, is absolutely a huge factor also, especially in how the media treats him. I remember Nadal being notorious for strange medical timeouts, and delay tactics when on return, but somehow he is getting the sportsmanship award all those times? What a joke.

Federer's one wasn't to break the pattern of play or a form of psychological warfare like Nadal's many ones are though, it was to get the sun out of his own eyes, which isn't gamesmanship in the same way that Nadal's are.
