New Zealand, like most shitty countries in this overly-regulated world, requires a properly sized life jacket for every person on board.... considering the size of the boat, it's probably just as easy to wear it as stow it.

Amazing scenery. I know that these jet boats draw very little water but how can you tell that you have enough at these speeds? How often do you have to repair the hull/replace the impeller?
@JohnSmith-yv6eq Жыл бұрын
If you come to a stop...you have too little water. Usually it is stones being sucked off the bottom and blocking the intake grate. No intake= no jet=stopped. The impellor is stainless steel and the wear ring (the orifice in which it works) is custom machined brass..not standard plastic...so it can take the small stones without smashing up things... Goatracing 610 has in other videos, (especially when he moved to an inflatable with a Tohatsu 50hp jet leg) stated that he constructed 7 new hulls in 11 years. Just click on his channel name above and this will take you to all his vids...

So Cool! I used to drive a Jet Boat similar to this one. A small 14ft Boston Whaler with a 115hp OMC . They only made them for a few years i think, they were INSANELY fast, but I was lucky enough to have one and would tear ass around tiny back waterways. Some were only a few inches deep and 4 ft wide in sections, but you take it to a whole other level! this looks insane and great fun, plus your view is MUCH nicer than NJ back waters lol. Great video!
