On that stage: 357.8 M album sales (2 Diamond from Em) 44 Grammy awards 18 AMAs awards 17 BET awards 1 Oscar 62 Billboard awards

Sorry to correct you both. If we're talking about worldwide sales. Eminem alone 277 M record sales with 8 Diamond plagues. 50 Cent sold about 77M records but didn't went Diamond unfortunately but the GRODT album is 9 Times platinum so not that far away. The only other diamond artist is Kendrick with 4 diamond plaques in Canada and other countries. Em is the only one of them with diamonds status in the US. Snoop sold about 96M. Dre about 37M. Mary J about 40M. Didn't really find overall sales of kendrick but the Eminem data is nearly 100% up to date.

When Dre had his aneurysm last year it freaked me out because without him we'd be missing out on iconic moments like this, crazy to think he's on back on stage less than a year later. The only possible way this could've been any better would be if Tupac was able to join them up there RIP

To be honest, I kind of wanted Ice Cube to make a surprise appearance. Just imagine what it would have been like to have Dre, Cube, Snoop, K-dot, Mary, 50 and Em on the same stage. THAT would have been absolutely untouchable as far as "influence" on a genre. And it would have been nice for Dre and Cube to do a bit of NWA as an "opening" then swinging into Dre/Snoop and the others to reflect the changes in the industry's sounds over the years.

Even the set, the choreography, the details down to the sound waves on the tickers of the stadium. Everything about this was fire. The amount of planning and attention to detail that went into this. I was so excited about this halftime show when it was announced and it surpassed my expectations. I'll admit I had not gotten into Kendrick but with the exception of his song I was singing along to every song. I think Dre playing I ain't mad at ya was in response to Em kneeling anyway after being told not to. People say why didn't they all kneel but it's because Em can get away with it and was going to do it anyway. There was little pieces of rebellion throughout the show Dre saying still not loving police after being told not to. Snoop adding just a hint of gold to his originally all blue outfit and throwing Cs and C walking on the biggest stage. Kdot doing Alright a protest song as opposed to humble or something more of a hit. But the other artist aside from Em weren't as out front with it because they wanted to make sure that Hip Hop artist would still be able to perform on that stage in the future. Just my opinions

Ironically, I didn't even catch that Em was kneeling for black history month. I know Em respects Dre and has said he'd be nothing if Dre hadn't found him, and the respect runs that deep - I originally took it to mean Em kneeling before Dre as a sign of ultimate respect to him...

I think the NFL knew every move they were going to make. They told them what they could ir couldn't do. They all made compromises. Eminem was the token they used to take a knee so Fox news wouldn't explode. They knew it was safer to use the white guy to do it. Otherwise they all would've done it at the end together if they wanted to rebel. Many don't know about Crip walking so they're betting on alot of white people not knowing how they were dancing. I'm black and I'm just now seeing the c-walk on tik tok maybe 6months ago. And I use to live in San Francisco. It was all about negotiating so the rappers could save face and the NFL can too

I agree. Kendrick had the best performance (set/dancers), Mary had the best vocals (due to range), Snoop had the best "presence" (mostly because he was everywhere and you couldn't miss him), Em clearly the most impact with just a verse (granted, it is one of the biggest rap songs of all time). 50 (as much as I like him) was kind of forgettable other than the opening visual being a call-back to the original music video. But it was Dre who obviously left his fingerprints all over the stage. Not just on the music itself, but the tracks played and the way they merged into the next track. You can tell that Dre was all over the production of the shifts as well.

YOUR. REACTION. IS. GOATEDDDD !!!!!! The last part when you're trying to figure out the diamond artists was so funny but mind blowing to realise ! Mary + 50 cent vibing to Em next to each other, knowing of his journey etc hit me hard... such an emotionally draining, my happiness was through the roof ! I was like in my early teens, was like 11-14 when I heard their music. Your reaction is the purest, I don't wish to watch any others, I may repeat this - just for that energy you brought ! The record label doesn't age, 50 Cent be looking the same, Em too ! Mary is queen, she sang so well - better than others... brought so much heart to it too. Dre brought west coast rap back ! Kendrick will do so well....

Anderson .Paak was living his life when he was performing lose yourself with his good friend Eminem Dr. Dre Snoop Dogg major Blige Kendrick Lamar all of them killed even 50 Cent himself but last night on the news when I was driving home with my dad I heard they are giving credit to Dr. Dre Snoop Dogg and 50 Cent for opening of the show even for me J Blige and Kendrick Lamar doing a good job but the NFL organization told Eminem before he went to go perform do not take a knee and I’m a devil doesn’t give a fuck about anyone’s opinion he took the need for his good friend his brother Colin Kaepernick the stupid fucking organization kicked out because he stood up for them. White thing he stood up as all the black kids were just getting killed getting abused by the stupid cops that’s the iconic legend like Eminem standing up for the right thing and take any photos by the Colin Kaepernick

I'm not even a hip hop or football fan, but I've heard of these legends and I knew there was raw power and history on that stage. Shows like this are usually commercials (and I guess this one was too, for Pepsi), but this was like a monument to a core part of Black American music and culture on the world stage. Will stand as a classic performance. Also, I'm loving whatever laser background generator you're using; the blue dots flashing across your face are mesmerizing
