It's ridiculously apparent as to how excited Tom is to get in the booth--not just to talk the game he loves, but also how his cerebral approach to football over the years helped him continue to evolve as player and a human being, You would get the odd glimpse when playing for the Pats, but as an outsider looking in ie. A Canadian who likes the NFL, but isn't engrained in it like some others, he was always the robot. The player unphased by anything and everything around him--his one conceprn, and often only concern, was winning at all costs. So you would hear the cookie cutter ore and post game ra-ra speeches--naturally cringe in the infamous geek mode that has definied him, and he has masterfully parlayed into that of a powerful and motivational voice, with enough knowledge to improve the game of an entire league looking for the edge, or that proverbial "secret sauce"--how did Tom do it, they must've wondered...and now, being the most himan and vocal we have ever seen, likely a combination of retiring on his own accord, even thought we always feel he's one justification away from running it back one more time--not to prove anything...legacy is set....he could go 17-0 and win 48-0 against Pat or 0-17 and I assure you, while you may temporarily have some additional fun talking points based on his age, longevity and ability to prove doubters wrong and maybe keep it in your back pocket should that kid from KC continue on his own unprecedented (yeah, even from Tom, who has redefined pro sports if you really think about it---how can the biggest underdog be the biggest bully...how can the least naturally skilled in terms of strength and speed, without strength/cardio/conditioning--yes, we know about TB12 Tom--what is wild is that if his career ended after the Pats, he still is the GOAT< but I feel the conversation is a bit more muddled, as he is looked less of an individual that he ended up being, even without knowledge of this intense and entertaining demeanour we now see dominating the airwaves during his pre-season sweep--and Tom, to the most staunch and stubborn fans of his competitors, even Pat this soon, or even his coaches such as Bill, although it wouldn't carry with it the same level of animosity and tension that he eventually had, albeit temporarily wo squashed via a manufactured cheers amongst former colleagues when Bill and Pat through Kevin Hart influenced, gbbouive the fans something to cheer about...regardless, he became and is now more likeable now...and Ithink I speak for everyone when I say how incredibly excited I am to see this dude chat weekly at a game I probably won't watch anyways...must be the aura..oh, and for the record, not dissimilar from Bron winning the LA title, another gold and what I hope is one more final coffin nailer which we know is becoming immune to the MJ apologists....only the inverse is true to me when analyzing the NBA goats, which to me, are respectfully and for simplicity purposes, a fight between two...if Pat is playing Bron with a huge run way ahead, we can't necessarily avoid it, but I can say objectively in the most subjective way....Tom is the goat and can not or will not eve be caught and that's more of a testament to him versus a criticism to the rest... #DrusViewx
